Senior Project Manager- Healthcare Construction

A leading general contractor in Miami is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee large, ground-up and complex healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a seasoned builder who thrives in high-stakes, technical environments and can lead teams with confidence and precision.

Description

  • Lead all phases of large healthcare construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and on-site execution.

  • Oversee and mentor project teams including APMs, engineers, field staff, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.

  • Manage client relationships with hospital systems, architects, and consultants to maintain communication and ensure expectations are met.

  • Review and approve project budgets, cost reports, change orders, and risk management strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with AHCA requirements, healthcare codes, infection control standards, and safety protocols.

  • Drive project delivery to meet timeline, quality, and cost targets while proactively resolving issues.

  • Conduct regular site visits, progress reviews, and project documentation updates.

Profile

  • 10+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years managing large healthcare projects.

  • Proven track record delivering complex hospital, medical office, or specialty care facilities ($30M+ preferred).

  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, AHCA, ICRA, and technical building systems.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

  • Proficient in industry software such as Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and related tools.

  • A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
