Construction Project Manager - K-12 / Municipal - Dallas, TX

$100,000 - $130,000/Year

As a Project Manager, you'll lead complex public and institutional projects from preconstruction through closeout. You'll ensure each project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety, while building strong, lasting relationships with clients and project partners.

Client Details

A well-established, Texas-based general contractor with a strong presence throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. This company is known for its expertise in delivering high-quality K-12 educational facilities and municipal projects, helping shape essential community spaces across North Texas.

Description

    • Oversee all phases of K-12 and municipal construction projects, including preconstruction planning, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners, ensuring transparent and proactive communication
    • Lead and mentor project teams, including superintendents and field staff, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration
    • Manage project financials, contracts, and change orders to protect budget and schedule goals
    • Promote and enforce the highest standards of jobsite safety and quality workmanship
    • Identify challenges early and implement strategic solutions to keep projects on track

Profile

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering K-12 and/or municipal projects, ideally in the Texas market
  • Strong understanding of public procurement and delivery methods (design-bid-build, CMAR, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with clients and project partners
  • Passion for delivering projects that positively impact local communities
