My client is a well-established, family-owned general contractor with over 70 years of history in the Mid-Atlantic region. As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing new construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Originally founded as a masonry contracting company, they've grown into one of the area's top builders with a reputation for delivering high-quality commercial and multifamily projects. With a team of over 350 employees and annual revenue of $400M, they specialize in multifamily, mixed-use, corporate interiors, retail, office, and sports & entertainment projects-typically ranging from $10M to $50M, with some exceeding $200M.
Description
As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing new construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You'll manage subcontractors, coordinate with clients, and lead internal teams to deliver successful outcomes across a variety of commercial and multifamily builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage new construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to a positive team culture

Profile
You're a driven and experienced construction professional with a strong background in new construction.
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial or multifamily construction
- Proven ability to manage projects independently
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with projects such as shopping centers, Target stores, or multifamily developments
Job Offer
My client offers a competitive compensation package and benefits designed to support your success and well-being:
- Base salary up to $125K (flexible based on experience)
- Lucrative bonus potential, which may include sign-on or guaranteed end-of-year bonuses depending on the candidate
