Senior Superintendent - Construction & Development Firm

The Senior Superintendent will serve as the on-site leader for large-scale construction projects, overseeing all field operations from pre-construction through closeout. • Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
• Manage daily field operations, including coordination of subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
• Promote and enforce a proactive safety culture across all job sites.
• Maintain and update project schedules, identifying and resolving potential delays.
• Oversee quality control and ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior superintendents and field staff.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company policies.

Profile

• Proven experience in commercial construction, with a strong background in Healthcare, Industrial, or Education (K-12 and Higher Ed) projects.
• Proven success managing complex, multi-phase projects from start to finish.
• Deep understanding of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and safety protocols.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in construction management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
