The Process Engineer role focuses on optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows to ensure cost-effectiveness, safety, and quality. Description
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for refining processes, implementing Lean principles, and driving efficiency across production operations. This role involves hands-on problem-solving, designing fixtures, and managing capital equipment projects to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize manufacturing flow and processes using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
- Design fixtures, develop Statements of Work, and lead equipment implementation projects.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement zero-defect quality initiatives.
Profile
The ideal Process Engineer is a proactive person with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in thermal or laminates manufacturing. You should be comfortable working hands-on, collaborating across teams, and applying advanced problem-solving techniques to improve production efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 2+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Proficiency in CAD and familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and quality systems.
- Strong understanding of automated manufacturing equipment and control plans.
