Description
In this Superintendent role, you will:
- Lead all on‑site construction activities, managing day‑to‑day field operations from mobilization to close‑out.
- Oversee subcontractors, crews, and specialty divisions to ensure quality workmanship and alignment with project plans.
- Enforce safety protocols, site cleanliness, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate scheduling, sequence of work, material deliveries, inspections, and daily communication with Project Managers.
- Problem‑solve field challenges proactively, identifying solutions to keep work progressing smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain daily logs, site reports, photos, and documentation to support transparency and accurate project tracking.
- Collaborate with internal groups such as roofing teams, waterproofing crews, or concrete/asphalt divisions when scopes overlap.
- Deliver a positive client experience by maintaining professional communication and resolving issues promptly.
- Drive projects to completion on time and within quality expectations, ensuring clean handoffs and thorough punch‑list execution.
Profile
The ideal candidate is an experienced commercial Superintendent with a strong background in managing on‑site operations for renovation, restoration, repair, or ground‑up improvement projects. They understand how to run efficient job sites, coordinate multiple trades, and uphold high standards of quality, safety, and communication.
They excel at scheduling, sequencing, and field leadership, with the ability to manage multiple small‑ to mid‑sized projects or one larger, more complex assignment. This person is hands‑on, solutions‑driven, organized, and calm under pressure. They work well with subs, communicate professionally with clients, and maintain strong relationships with Project Managers and division leaders. Experience in commercial environments such as multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, or industrial is highly valuable.
