Project Manager - Commercial Construction

We are partnering with a well‑respected general contractor based in Nashville to hire an experienced Project Manager. This individual will manage local ground‑up and renovation commercial projects from preconstruction through close‑out while serving as a key leader for both internal teams and clients. This is a strong long‑term opportunity with a stable GC known for repeat business, and high‑quality work.

Description

• Manage all phases of local commercial construction projects from planning to close‑out
• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost tracking
• Lead coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor selection, and contract administration
• Conduct regular project meetings and ensure clear communication across all parties
• Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the project
• Provide leadership and mentorship to internal teams, including Superintendents and Project Engineers
• Resolve project challenges proactively to maintain schedule and budget integrity

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction
• Proven track record managing ground‑up and/or renovation projects
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and construction documentation
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
