Description

• Lead and manage preconstruction efforts for multiple projects, from conceptual design through GMP development.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for both ground-up and tenant improvement healthcare projects.
• Review and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents to ensure scope clarity and accuracy.
• Conduct subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope analysis to achieve competitive pricing.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to align budgets, schedules, and constructability insights.
• Provide value engineering recommendations and cost-saving alternatives during design development.
• Assist in strategic pursuits, RFPs, and interviews for major healthcare clients.

Profile

A successful Estimator/Precon Manager should have:

• 5+ years of estimating or preconstruction experience in commercial construction, ideally within healthcare / OSHPD / HCAI projects.
• Proven experience developing conceptual budgets and managing the preconstruction process for complex, large-scale builds.
• Strong understanding of building systems, MEP coordination, and OSHPD permitting.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
• Collaborative and detail-oriented approach; able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
