Description
The Superintendent - Ground-Up Healthcare Projects - Charleston will be responsible for:
- Oversee day‑to‑day field operations and ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards
- Manage subcontractors, sequencing, and onsite coordination to support project milestones
- Lead onsite safety initiatives, enforce compliance, and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on scheduling, procurement, and issue resolution
- Maintain daily reports, logs, and documentation related to progress and field activities
- Conduct site meetings and ensure all stakeholders stay aligned throughout each project phase
- Support punch list completion and assist with project turnover
Profile
The Superintendent - Ground-Up Healthcare Projects - Charleston will have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a general contractor
- Proven background managing ground‑up or large‑scale commercial projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor management, and field safety
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with a hands‑on, solutions‑driven approach
