Description

Assistant Controller Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Assist in consolidating financial statements and producing management reporting packages.
• Identify opportunities to improve close efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting functions including A/P, A/R, payroll accounting, fixed assets, and general ledger.
• Ensure all accounting operations follow GAAP and company policies.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting treatment for complex transactions.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to validate financial information and support business activities.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of team members.
• Promote a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of combined experience in financial analysis and accounting
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel for financial modeling.
• Knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
