Project Engineer

$70,000 - $85,000/Year

The Project Engineer will play a key role in supporting day-to-day project operations, working closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and looking to build a long-term career in construction project management.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects from pre-construction through closeout

  • Support Project Managers with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement

  • Maintain and track project documentation, including schedules, drawings, logs, and daily reports

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and execution of work

  • Participate in on-site meetings and conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality standards are met

  • Help manage project budgets and ensure cost control measures are in place

  • Collaborate with field and office teams to ensure communication and alignment across all phases of the project

Profile

  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field

    • 1-3 years of construction experience, preferably with a general contractor

    • Strong organizational and communication skills

    • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

    • Willingness to occasionally travel to project sites as needed
