Description
The PM/Super is responsible for:
- Managing on-site and in-office responsibilities across multiple residential projects.
- Overseeing full project lifecycle from sitework through completion, including roadway infrastructure and vertical construction.
- Coordinating permitting and approvals with town officials, inspectors, and engineers.
- Managing all trades, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality, schedule, and productivity.
- Driving project schedules, sequencing, and day-to-day site operations across multiple job sites.
- Reading and interpreting full plan sets, identifying potential issues related to grading, drainage, and constructability.
- Developing material takeoffs (including lumber lists), supporting budgeting, and sourcing subcontractors.
- Overseeing foundations, framing, and finish work through certificate of occupancy (CO), final walkthroughs, and warranty.
- Performing punch list and warranty work as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Operating light construction equipment (e.g., mini excavator) and supporting site work when required.
- Taking a hands-on approach in the field, assisting with basic tasks to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Driving continuous improvement by identifying better ways to execute and streamline operations.
Profile
The right candidate has the following qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of experience leading ground-up residential projects (single-family, townhouse) as a full-scope Supervisor.
- Strong knowledge of the International Residential Code (IRC) and ability to navigate code requirements.
- Holding a MA Construction Supervisor License (CSL); Building Official or similar certification preferred.
- Demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously (2-3 sites, 30-180 homes each).
- Bringing strong problem-solving, organization, and multitasking skills with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
- Operating with an ownership mindset-treating projects like personal investments and driving efficiency.
- Communicating effectively with teams, subcontractors, and municipal stakeholders.
- Having a personal vehicle (4x4 pickup preferred; company vehicle potential)
Job Offer
The PM/Super will receive:
- Base salary up to $140K
- Project Bonuses/Incentives
