Superintendent - Hyperscale Data Center Construction

Lead tenant fit‑out delivery across a fast‑tracked, multi‑site hyperscale data centre retrofit program. This role offers the opportunity to shape processes, standards, and a new data center division while managing complex live‑environment construction.

Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Leading hyperscale date center tenant fit-out work across multiple active sites
• Managing fast-track retrofit projects in live, mission-critical environments
• Overseeing confined-space scopes including mechanical, electrical, and ductwork
• Coordinating upgrades to cooling systems, power distribution, and substations
• Delivering cooling plant replacements and energy-efficiency improvements
• Managing water-reuse, sustainability, noise abatement, and façade modifications
• Ensuring compliance with local permitting and reporting requirements
• Maintaining safety, quality, and scheduling across multiple concurrent locations
• Collaborating directly with executive leadership to build the data center division

Profile

A successful Superintendent should have:

• Experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on complex builds
• Background on data centers, mission-critical, or highly technical retrofit work
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and power infrastructure scopes
• Proven ability to deliver work in active, occupied facilities
• Experience managing fast-track schedules across multiple sites
• Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor coordination skills
