Project Accountant - Rolling Meadows, IL

Client Details
ur client is looking for a strong Project Accountant in the construction industry to join the team as they've taken on a couple $30-40M projects. This role will be owning your own portfolio of clients, while using the softwares Foundation and ProCore to document financial data for ongoing projects.
Description
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and forecasts to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Review and analyze project costs, identifying variances and recommending solutions to stay on track.
- Collaborate with project managers to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis.
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and company policies throughout all project phases.
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable for assigned projects.
- Reconcile project accounts and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation as needed.
- Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
Profile
- 3+ years of experience in construction accounting
- Experience with construction software, Foundation
- Experience with construction software, ProCore
