Quality Assurance Manager

The QA Manager will lead all quality assurance and food safety programs at a fast-growing, vertically integrated food manufacturing company, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks. This role requires strong leadership, experience with USDA/FDA regulations, and a hands-on approach to driving continuous improvement across production and quality systems.

Description

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to meet industry standards.
  • Lead quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve product quality.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality standards and best practices.
  • Investigate customer complaints and work on corrective actions to improve satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to senior management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously enhance quality processes.

Profile

A successful Quality Assurance Manager should have:

  • A strong understanding of quality management systems and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance within the engineering and manufacturing fields.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering or quality management.
