Senior Project Manager - Multifamily Experience
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale ground‑up construction projects from conception through closeout. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a track record managing complex builds valued at $90M or greater, or equivalent in scale and technical demands. This role requires exceptional communication skills, financial acumen, and the ability to drive teams toward achieving project milestones safely, on time, and within budget

Description
- Lead all phases of ground‑up construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution.
- Manage onsite and administrative teams, including subcontractors, superintendents, project engineers, and consultants.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, cost tracking logs, and risk management plans.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate issues.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, owners, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
- Ensure all work meets RDC's quality standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present regular project reports, cost forecasts, and status updates.
- Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and warranty coordination.
Profile
- Proven experience managing at least one ground‑up construction project valued at $90M or more (or multiple projects of comparable scale and complexity).
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 8-12 years of progressive experience in construction project management.
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods across large commercial or multi‑family projects.
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
