Operations Warehouse Manager
This position is responsible to support the company through projects and initiatives related to internal & external transport & warehouse logistical activities including movements in and out and managing waste streams - to ensure compliance in the warehouse area, improve customer service, reduce costs, increase efficiency and implement best practices.

- Ensure team Compliance to all International, Federal, State and Local Regulations and to Safety, Security, Environmental and cGMP's
- Responsible for safety in the warehouse areas and perform daily walks ensuring racking is safe and in good condition and is reported, tagged and serviced when needed.
- Manager requests for Quotation (RFQ's) with external third-party logistics companies timely, consistently within 24 hours, driving for and measuring cost saving opportunities - work with manager to present business cases to support initiatives
- Ensure up to date training for all team members in HSEQ, Security, SOP's and Regulatory Compliance including certifications required by DOT (IATA; IMDG, HAZMAT) provide coaching and employee development in these areas
- Responsible for cycle count program to ensure inventory accuracy at 98+ %
- Responsible for ensuring upkeep of facility forklifts and battery charging and skyjack and pallet jacks as well as shipping dock, warehouse doors working with outside vendors.
- Manages Warehouse clerks and Ops Admin role, works in close collaboration with Production, Customer Service and other departments to ensure goals are met.
- Must fulfil Clerk Roles when needed in their absences and daily as needed .
- Review and improve distribution of our products to our customers supporting 98.5% minimum OTIF Service
- Develop logistics reports, records and KPI's and ensure effective implementation
- Develop Continuous Improvement initiatives and ensure effective implementation
- Review escalation of issues from customers' and/or shippers' and drive process to develop documented Root Cause Analysis, Corrective and Preventative Actions to drive process improvement
- Manage Process to properly store materials for production in a manner supporting FIFO ; working closely with Production Team so needed materials are easily accessible.
- Ensure warehouse organization & storage for maximum efficiency. Ensures warehouse and products, floors, walls and racking condition and storage meets all cGMP requirements. This includes all warehouse space on site and nearby spaces inside warehouses that are leased
- Implement and sustain effective Cycle Counting program to ensure 98% + Inventory Accuracy
- Improve Label Processing to provide correct and accurate labels within 30 minutes of submission

Profile
A successful Operations Warehouse Manager should have:
- 5+ years' experience in a warehouse/logistics environment; shipping and receiving preferred
- GED required; associates or Bachelor's degree in business or related preferred
- Must be proficient in all modes of transportation - domestic and international and dg transportation
- Strong leadership, coaching, teambuilding, mentoring skills
- Strong background in MRP, materials management, ERP
- Certifications: Dot: IATA, IMDG, Hazmat, Forklift.
