The firm specializes in the construction, expansion, and rehabilitation of wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, water treatment facilities, force mains, gravity sewers, and related municipal infrastructure.

The organization is known for its self‑perform capabilities, safety‑first culture, and deep technical strength in water and wastewater construction. Superintendents are viewed as critical leaders, given real authority in the field, and supported by experienced project management, engineering, and safety teams.

Description

Field Leadership & Execution

  • Lead all onsite construction activities from mobilization through startup, commissioning support, and closeout.
  • Manage subcontractors, self‑perform crews, equipment, and daily production activities.

  • Coordinate sequencing for critical tie‑ins, shutdowns, and cutovers, often within active facilities.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

  • Enforce company safety programs, job hazard analyses, and OSHA compliance without exception.
  • Maintain strict adherence to project quality standards, specifications, and inspection requirements.
  • Coordinate onsite activities with owners, engineers, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.

Planning & Coordination

  • Review and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and work plans.
  • Lead daily huddles, weekly coordination meetings, and look‑ahead schedule planning.
  • Maintain daily reports, safety documentation, production tracking, and photo records.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to manage schedule impacts, risks, and constructability challenges.
  • Travel regionally across the Southeast for multi‑month project assignments.

Profile

  • 7-15+ years of superintendent experience in wastewater, water treatment, or heavy civil construction.
  • Direct experience with wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, underground utilities, force mains, or water treatment facilities.
  • Strong understanding of concrete structures, process piping, mechanical equipment installation, and site civil work.
  • Experience working in active or operating municipal facilities strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple trades and crews in technically complex environments.
  • A safety‑driven mindset with a consistent record of compliant, well‑run jobsites.
  • Willingness to travel regionally across the Southeast for the duration of assigned projects.
