Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in New York within the Property industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and contributing to the success of construction projects.

Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather project specifications and requirements.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, budgets, and project documentation.
• Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Provide regular updates on project costs and budget forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company procedures throughout the estimation process.
• Support the Construction department with additional tasks as needed.

Profile

A successful Estimator should have:

• A strong understanding of construction and property industry practices and processes.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• A degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
