Junior Billing Coordinator
The Junior Billing Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the legal department by managing billing processes and ensuring accurate financial records. This position requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to excel in a fast-paced business services environment.

Description
- Prepare, review, and submit client invoices in accordance with firm guidelines, client requirements, and outside counsel billing rules.
- Monitor accounts receivable, track aging balances, and follow up with attorneys and clients on outstanding invoices.
- Research, resolve, and respond to billing inquiries, discrepancies, and client disputes in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate billing records, supporting documentation, and audit trails to ensure data integrity.
- Partner closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and finance teams to address billing compliance and client-specific requirements.
- Generate and analyze detailed billing, AR, and variance reports for internal management and client review.
- Ensure adherence to firm policies, client billing guidelines, and applicable regulatory and ethical standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline billing workflows, improve accuracy, and reduce invoice rejections.
Profile
A successful Junior Billing Coordinator should have:
- A background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with billing processes, particularly within the legal industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
