Scrum Master - Charlotte, NC

We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our client's team in Charlotte, NC. This role involves facilitating daily stand-ups and managing core project responsibilities such as scope definition, staffing, status communication, budget oversight, and risk/issue management.

Description

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and team collaboration including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives, while removing impediments and minimizing external interference.
  
  
• Manage project delivery and reporting by tracking progress, ensuring commitments are met, and overseeing scope, schedule, resources, and financials.
  
  
• Support product development and quality through requirement extraction, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria, and collaborating on scheduling work, defect remediation, and technical debt prevention.
  
  
• Enable continuous improvement and alignment by guiding processes, resolving conflicts, balancing stakeholder interests, and promoting adherence to quality and Agile practices.

Profile

• Education & Communication Skills: Degree in IT, business, or related field, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  
  
• Leadership & Interpersonal Skills: Strong people skills, adept at working with diverse teams and resolving conflicts effectively.
  
  
• Project & Financial Management: Solid understanding of project scoping, estimation, and financial controls, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  
  
• Agile & Quality Expertise: Background in project management or Scrum Master roles; familiarity with quality management tools and techniques. Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) is preferred!
