Description
- Develop and manage preconstruction budgets, schedules, and project scopes for retail construction projects.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to evaluate project feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Review and analyze construction documents to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Provide value engineering recommendations to optimize project outcomes.
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure seamless transitions from preconstruction to construction phases.
- Coordinate bid packages and negotiate contracts with subcontractors.
- Maintain open communication with stakeholders to align on project expectations and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on preconstruction progress to senior leadership.
Profile
- Minimum required - bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum required - Ten (10) years estimating experience.
- A strong understanding of preconstruction processes and retail construction projects.
- Proficiency in analyzing construction documents, budgets, and schedules.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of construction software and tools to streamline preconstruction activities.
