Description
- Support the Project Manager in all aspects of construction operations.
- Prepare, submit, and distribute RFIs (Requests for Information) as needed.
- Review and comprehend subcontract agreements relevant to assigned responsibilities.
- Inform management of critical project developments, including successes, challenges, injuries, client interactions, and potential claims or losses.
- Collaborate with the owner/client to provide progress updates, secure approvals, and finalize change orders for scope modifications.
- Assist in documenting project changes, maintaining accurate records, redline updates, and correspondence.
- Ensure all work adheres to OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Track project expenses to maintain alignment with the established budget.
Profile
- 1+ years of experience working in multifamily, commercial, health care, K-12/Higher ED, industrial, multifamily or retail construction
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
- Manage administrative construction duties, including document control
- Prepare submittal schedules for approval and distribution
- Assist the Superintendent with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations
- Assist with preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification
- Collect and log closeout documents and punch lists
