Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction

Description

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and overseeing all phases of construction projects

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery and quality standards

• Prepare project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

• Monitor project budgets, track costs, and help prepare progress reports

• Support in resolving on-site challenges and ensuring compliance with safety regulations

• Participate in project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders

Profile

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager in commercial construction, preferably with office, retail, or restaurant projects. A strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, this individual thrives in a collaborative team environment and demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
