Assistant Project Manager- Commercial Construction
An established general contractor in Miami is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support ground-up and interior build projects across office, retail, and restaurant sectors. This role offers hands-on involvement in all phases of construction, with strong mentorship and growth potential.

Description
Assist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and overseeing all phases of construction projects
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
Prepare project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Monitor project budgets, track costs, and help prepare progress reports
Support in resolving on-site challenges and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Participate in project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
Profile
The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager in commercial construction, preferably with office, retail, or restaurant projects. A strong communicator with excellent organizational skills, this individual thrives in a collaborative team environment and demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred.
Job Offer
Competitive base salary of $80,000-$95,000 depending on experience
