Quality Engineer- Metal- Rowley, Ma
As the Quality Engineer you will collaborate with quality inspectors to ensure comprehensive documentation of inspection processes, including the creation and management of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for rejected products.

Description
Process Development
Innovate and streamline manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and reduce costs.
Quality Assurance
Ensure compliance with internal and external standards through rigorous inspections and testing.
Continuous Improvement
Drive efficiency and quality enhancements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive records supporting compliance and quality standards.
Issue Resolution
Lead corrective actions to address and prevent quality issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with teams across departments to resolve production and quality challenges.
Equipment Oversight
Monitor calibration and functionality of testing and measurement equipment.
Standards Compliance
Ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Profile
Engineering degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in metal fabrication and welding; certifications such as AWS Certified Welder are preferred.
Proficiency in electronics assembly, including soldering and familiarity with IPC standards.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
