Senior Fund Accountant

The Senior Fund Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the accounting activities for assigned funds, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of the banking and financial services industry and attention to detail.

Description

• Support various loan portfolios and support acquisitions.
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements for assigned funds.
• Monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes.
• Cash liquidity management, calculation of capital calls and distributions
• Ensure accuracy in journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely reporting.

Profile

A successful Senior Fund Accountant should have:

• Experience with comingled and separate account structures
• 8+ years of experience in the field
• Big 4 and private experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations in the banking and financial services industry.
