Cyber Security Analyst
The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for managing DevSecOps, application security, IAM administration, incident response, and risk assessments to protect digital assets. The role requires strong technical expertise, and the ability to implement security best practices and frameworks within the organization's IT environment.

The client is a leading global financial services firm.
This role requires 3 days on-site per week in their NYC office, providing an excellent opportunity to collaborate closely with diverse teams in a dynamic environment.
Description
Manage DevSecOps and application security throughout the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
Administer Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes, including user onboarding, access control, and account lifecycle management.
Design and implement comprehensive IAM programs, policies, and procedures.
Monitor security logs and respond to incidents promptly to mitigate risks.
Conduct user access reviews and manage access to sensitive systems and data.
Collaborate with departments to resolve IAM-related issues and ensure secure system access.
Coordinate incident response efforts, including detection, investigation, and resolution.
Evaluate and recommend security tools and solutions to address emerging threats.
Assess third-party vendor security practices and ensure contractual compliance.
Develop and deliver IT security training to promote awareness and compliance across the organization.
Profile
Minimum of 3 years' experience in IAM, cybersecurity, or related IT security roles.
Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts such as SSO, role-based access control, and MFA.
Proficient with IAM tools and cybersecurity platforms like SIEM, PAM, and EDR.
Solid understanding of security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communicator able to explain complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
Collaborative team player who can work across departments and mentor others.
Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly preferred.
Job Offer
The hourly rate for this role ranges from $85 to $100, depending on experience and qualifications.
