APM - National Commercial Development up to $65M

With 60 Years of excellence, my client is a National Developer based in the South Shore of Massachusetts (about 5 miles South of Boston) specializing in Multifamily, Restaurant, Retail, and general commercial projects along throughout Metro Boston and Southern Massachusetts. They are seeking an experienced, high-energy Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team.

Client Details

I am partnered with a Large National Commercial Developer that has just opened and office South of Boston (about 5 miles South of the city) that has been in business for over 40 years. They pride themselves in delivering over $100M of Multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use retail projects per year locally and are looking to add additional staff to their newly fit-out office local to the South Shore. Description

• Collaborate with the MP/PX to plan, execute, and close construction projects.
• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, identifying issues, and implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
• Support the preparation of project status reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Contribute to project financial management, including budget tracking and cost control.
• Participate in regular project meetings and communicate project updates to team members.
• Comfortable in client-facing meetings - shows high potential as a future PM

Profile

• 2-5 years of relevant APM experience at a Commercial General Contractor or Developer
• Motivated junior construction professional capable of keeping up in fast-paced environment and does well in client-facing situations
• Forward-thinking with the desire to continue learning and growing
• Bachelor's Degree in a construction-related field
• Procore experience
• Stand-out communication skills | Verbal & Written
• Commercial interiors, Multifamily, and/or Retail and Restaurant project experience is ideal
