Description
The Construction Project Manager will oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires leadership, organization, and an ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships simultaneously. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of field and office experience and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Lead all phases of construction projects, including some estimating, scheduling, procurement, and execution
- Manage subcontractor bidding, contract scopes, and on-site performance
- Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting
- Ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance on all projects
- Administer change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Serve as primary contact for clients, architects, and engineers
- Conduct regular project meetings and progress reviews
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly and effectively
- Support and mentor assistant project managers and superintendents
Profile
- 3-5+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects (ground-up or renovation)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficient with construction management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
