Demand Planner

Description

• Develop and execute accurate demand forecasts to meet business objectives.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to align forecasts with market trends and business plans.

• Analyze historical data, market trends, and customer insights to anticipate demand shifts and minimize risks.

• Lead the demand planning process end-to-end, including monthly and quarterly sales and operations planning (S&OP).

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve forecast accuracy and inventory management.

• Manage a team of demand planners, providing mentorship and guidance.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize demand planning tools and processes.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred.

• 5+ years of demand planning experience, preferably in a consumer goods or retail environment.

• Proven expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and S&OP processes.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in demand planning software and advanced Excel.

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
