Description
The Production Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing production schedules to align with customer demands and company objectives
- Ensuring compliance with quality control standards and industry regulations
- Supervising and mentoring production team members while fostering a collaborative work environment
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing cost-effective solutions
- Overseeing equipment maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency
- Coordinating with cross-functional departments to streamline workflows and achieve production goals
- Monitoring inventory levels and managing supply chain logistics
- Preparing and presenting production performance reports to senior leadership
- Leading and developing a high-performing production team while cultivating a culture of accountability and collaboration
- Driving operational transformation by applying lean manufacturing principles and modernizing production capabilities
- Overseeing the facility's growth and evolving it into a streamlined, efficient, and future-ready manufacturing operation

Profile
A successful Production Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing setting; background in fabrication or machining is a plus
- Proven leadership experience managing a department and driving organizational change
- Familiarity with ERP systems; experience with ProfitKey is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles, including 5S, Visual Management (VM), Daily Management (DM), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)
- Skilled in production and materials planning
- Ability to develop, monitor, and report on performance metrics
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
