The Civil Assistant Project Manager will support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects by managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and compliance with safety and quality standards. They act as a key liaison between the project manager, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Description

  • Assists in coordinating site preparation activities including grading, excavation, utilities, and erosion control.
  • Supports the Project Manager in managing subcontractors and crews performing earthwork, concrete, and drainage installations.
  • Monitors daily site operations to ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Tracks material deliveries, equipment usage, and site logistics to maintain project schedules.
  • Helps resolve field issues quickly to minimize disruptions and maintain workflow.
  • Conducts site inspections and documents progress, quality checks, and compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Communicates with engineers, surveyors, and foremen to ensure accurate execution of site layouts and elevations.
  • Maintains records of RFIs, change orders, and field reports related to site activities.

Profile

A successful Civil Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating construction projects in the property industry.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
