Preconstruction Manager

A growing general contractor is hiring a Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to lead estimates across ground‑up and interior projects. This role partners closely with ownership and plays a key part in winning and delivering work.

Description

* Lead preconstruction and estimating for ground‑up and interior projects

* Prepare conceptual through GMP estimates and bid packages

* Analyze drawings, specs, and subcontractor pricing

* Collaborate with operations and ownership during precon

* Support value engineering and cost‑control initiatives

Profile

A successful Preconstruction Manager should have:

* 7-10 years of estimating experience with a GC

* Strong knowledge of the local commercial construction market

* Experience with ground‑up commercial projects; financial institutions a plus

* Proficiency with Procore, On‑Screen Takeoff, and Sage

• * Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
