Superintendent | Commercial TI | Daly City
Due to a strong backlog of work, my client is actively seeking a skilled and collaborative commercial TI Superintendent. Along with running commercial TI projects ranging from $3-5M, they'll be trusted to maintain client relationships and represent the company's culture of quality, accountability, and teamwork.
Client Details
My client is a mid-sized General Contractor specializing in commercial tenant improvement construction with a strong and steadily growing backlog, including several significant upcoming projects. Headquartered in San Francisco, their work spans the Bay Area - approximately 50% in the city, 30% on the Peninsula, and 20% in the East Bay.

Description
- Supervise daily field operations on commercial TI jobs (typically one floor, $3-5M)
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project goals are met
- Serve as the primary site contact for clients-maintaining professionalism, clear communication, and responsiveness
- Enforce safety standards and company policies on site
- Track project progress and document site activities using project management software
- Troubleshoot field issues, schedule labor, and oversee quality control
- Collaborate closely with a team that values mutual support and low-ego problem-solving
Profile
- Experience as a Superintendent (or strong Assistant Super ready to step up) on commercial tenant improvement projects
- Comfortable managing TI jobs in the $3M-$5M range independently
- Strong soft skills: personable, proactive, and capable of managing client relationships
- Solid computer and documentation skills
- Experience with lobby upgrades, modernizations, or similar scopes a plus
- Able to commute to job sites across San Francisco, the Peninsula, and East Bay
