Estimator - Commercial Construction

Description
The Estimator will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners
- Preparing and submitting proposals while managing timelines through project award
- Supporting a smooth handoff to project management and field teams
- Monitoring project budgets and assisting with cost tracking throughout construction
- Evaluating and pricing change orders
- Managing bid solicitation and pricing from subcontractors and vendors
- Preparing internal cost analysis and supporting preconstruction efforts
- Communicating with internal teams and trade partners on upcoming opportunities
- Maintaining pipeline reports, tracking leads, and supporting forecasting efforts
- Assisting in the growth and development of the estimating team
- Supporting preconstruction meetings with clients and external stakeholders
- Utilizing construction technology to support estimating and project delivery
Profile
The Estimator will have:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in estimating or preconstruction with a general contractor or developer
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and develop cost estimates
- Experience working with design-build or conceptual estimating preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams
- Experience building relationships with subcontractors, clients, and design teams
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Interest in long-term growth and leadership opportunities
Job Offer
The Estimator will be offered:
- $110,000 - $130,000 base salary depending on experience
