Loan Operations Specialist

The Senior Loan Operations Specialist will handle the processing and servicing of loans within the bank's Commercial Real Estate and Middle Market portfolios.

Description

• Responsible for handling the processing and servicing of loans within the Commercial Real Estate and Middle Market portfolios.
• Collaborate closely with operations and compliance teams, while maintaining frequent direct communication with clients.
• Set up and process new loans, including reviewing loan documentation, managing fund disbursements at closing, and entering data into the core loan system.
• Assist with the disbursement of tax escrow payments related to all commercial loans.
• Support day-to-day loan operations tasks, such as processing wire transfers, adjusting interest rates, posting payments, and managing loan advances.
• Assist with servicing activities for loan amendments, renewals, and modifications.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries from clients and account officers and resolving any issues that arise.
• Review closing documents, payments, and advances to identify and resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies.

Profile

• Associate degree or comparable professional experience required
• 3-5 years of experience with commercial loans; knowledge of the Community Banking sector is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities
