Travel Superintendent - Top 25 ENR Ranked GC

Seeking a highly experienced Travel Superintendent to oversee all field operations on large, high-value commercial projects. This individual will lead jobsite management teams, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure safety, schedule, quality, and productivity standards are consistently achieved.

Description

  • Lead on-site construction activities and coordinate all field operations

  • Supervise and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel

  • Enforce and monitor jobsite safety in compliance with OSHA and company policies

  • Review drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure project goals are met

  • Maintain daily logs, coordinate inspections, and report progress to project management

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers

  • Proactively identify and resolve jobsite issues and potential schedule impacts

  • Uphold quality control standards and ensure construction meets company and industry best practices

Profile

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial construction as a Superintendent, with at least 3 years on large-scale projects

  • Proven experience with industrial, healthcare, airport, stadium, or similarly complex commercial builds

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (nationwide) for extended project assignments

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, scheduling, and QA/QC processes

  • Proficient in construction software including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project

  • OSHA 30 Certification required; CPR/First Aid certification preferred

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred
