Manufacturing Engineer | Rockford, IL
The Manufacturing Engineer will develop and continuously improve manufacturing processes for my client's production facility based in Rockford, IL. You'll implement LEAN/CI tools to drive cost savings and increased production efficiency, as well as develop tooling to aid manufacturing.

Description
- Design, implement and monitor manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety and environmental standards.
- Conduct training sessions for production staff on new processes and equipment.
- Maintain documentation of all manufacturing processes and improvements.
- Participate in product design reviews to ensure manufacturability.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Profile
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience in fastener manufacturing is required.
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards.
- Working knowledge of CAD software for design of custom tooling/fixtures to aid production.
- Proven experience utilizing LEAN/CI/Six Sigma tools to drive production cost savings.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- The ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with various departments.
Job Offer
- Base salary between $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.
- Annual bonus incentive based on personal performance + company revenue.
