Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with clients, subcontractors, and team members
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and exposure to project management software such as Procore or MS Project
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Working knowledge of construction safety practices, building codes, and industry standards
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to take initiative and support field and office teams
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites across New Jersey and the surrounding region
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Experience assisting with cost tracking, budgets, or scheduling
Exposure to transit, infrastructure, or historic restoration projects
OSHA 30 certification or other relevant safety training
Demonstrated ability to grow into a leadership role

Assistant Project Manager - North Jersey
We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support day-to-day project operations across multiple sectors. This is a dynamic opportunity to gain exposure to both field and office responsibilities while advancing toward a Project Manager role.

Description
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will:
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating day-to-day construction activities from pre-construction through closeout.
- Manage documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure timely project execution.
- Support scheduling, budgeting, and cost control measures.
- Oversee compliance with safety, building codes, and quality standards.
- Participate in site visits, progress meetings, and inspections.

Profile
A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- 2-5 years of experience in construction project management, with exposure to both field and office responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline (preferred but not required).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
