Construction Superintendent - MTA, LIRR, SCA, - Queens, NY

A leading general contractor specializing in transportation and educational infrastructure. Their portfolio includes work for agencies such as MTA, LIRR, NYC Transit, SCA, and DASNY. They operate primarily in Queens and Long Island but maintain a strong presence across all five boroughs.
Description
- Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project timelines.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel to maintain project quality and efficiency.
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure alignment with goals.
- Address and resolve onsite issues promptly to avoid project delays.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure proper documentation of all construction activities, including change orders and daily reports.
- Conduct site inspections to maintain high-quality standards and adherence to design specifications.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration among all onsite staff.
