Description
Key Responsibilities for a Project Manager - DSA Construction in Los Angeles include:
Overseeing daily building and construction activities to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, and quality standards
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams effectively
Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations
Review and interpret building and construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
Support procurement and materials management to ensure timely delivery
Assist in resolving technical and operational challenges on-site
Promote a collaborative and positive work environment focused on craftsmanship and client satisfaction
Profile
A successful Project Manager - DSA Construction candidate in Los Angeles will have:
5+ years of construction management experience, ideally in public works or education projects
Strong leadership and team coordination skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality compliance
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure
Skilled problem solver with adaptability to changing project needs
Proficient in building and construction management software such as Procore, MS Project, or similar tools
