Junior Superintendent - Public Projects - New York, NY
A Long Island-based GC is seeking a Junior Superintendent to support large-scale NYC public sector projects. This is a hands-on site role with direct collaboration with senior site and MEP leadership.
Client Details
Established New York contractor with decades of experience delivering public works across NYC, including SCA, DDC, and EDC projects. Known for complex ground-up builds and a focus on quality and compliance.
Description
- Assist in day-to-day site operations alongside the site Super and MEP team
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors
- Contribute to project documentation, modeling, and scheduling
- Ensure safety and compliance across project phases
Profile
- 2-5 years as a Junior Superintendent or equivalent site-based experience
- Familiar with NYC public projects (e.g., SCA, jails, schools, DDC)
- Comfortable with BIM/Revit and 2D/3D modeling
- Strong communicator, team player, eager to grow with long-term projects
