The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fast-paced retail environments, managing subcontractors, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Description

Responsibilities of a Traveling Construction Superintendent:

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities on job sites across various locations
• Manage all phases of construction for ground-up and remodel projects
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, materials, and inspections
• Ensure quality control and enforce company and OSHA safety policies
• Communicate progress with project managers, clients, and vendors
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and photographic documentation
• Travel extensively to project locations across the U.S

Profile

The Successful Traveling Construction Superintendent will have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
• Proven success managing Walmart, Costco, or grocery store projects
• Experience in both ground-up construction and interior/exterior remodels
• Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and permitting processes
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proficient with project management and reporting software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid)
• Willingness to travel 100% of the time
