Description

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial interior projects.

• Review drawings, bid documents, and specifications in detail.

• Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor/vendor proposals.

• Collaborate with project managers and superintendents on preconstruction.

• Identify value engineering opportunities to maintain competitiveness.

• Maintain accurate cost databases and market knowledge.

Profile

The ideal Estimator is analytical, detail-driven, and thrives in the fast-paced world of interiors. They are confident in reviewing construction documents, excel at building relationships with subcontractors, and are adept at balancing precision with deadlines. A background in commercial interiors estimating is highly desirable.

• 3-5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction.

• Commercial interiors background strongly preferred.

• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel.

• Ability to read/interpret drawings and specifications.

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
