Estimator
This position offers the opportunity to prepare detailed cost estimates for complex commercial interior projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in a fast-moving market. You'll collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and clients to translate drawings into reliable budgets that drive project success.

Description
Prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial interior projects.
Review drawings, bid documents, and specifications in detail.
Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor/vendor proposals.
Collaborate with project managers and superintendents on preconstruction.
Identify value engineering opportunities to maintain competitiveness.
Maintain accurate cost databases and market knowledge.
Profile
The ideal Estimator is analytical, detail-driven, and thrives in the fast-paced world of interiors. They are confident in reviewing construction documents, excel at building relationships with subcontractors, and are adept at balancing precision with deadlines. A background in commercial interiors estimating is highly desirable.
3-5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction.
Commercial interiors background strongly preferred.
Proficiency with estimating software and Excel.
Ability to read/interpret drawings and specifications.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
