Description
My client is actively seeking an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent to support projects in Norfolk and Richmond, VA, with a preference for candidates who bring experience in transportation-related scopes.- Support day-to-day field operations on assigned projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
- Ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence on-site
- Assist with project documentation, reporting, and inspections
- Work closely with Project Managers and senior leadership
Profile
- 2-5+ years of construction experience in a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent role
- Exposure to public or infrastructure-related projects preferred
- Experience in transportation work is highly desirable, including:
- Maritime bridge repairs
- Structural repairs for light rail systems
- Walkway/panel replacement projects
- Strong field coordination and communication skills
- Motivated, growth-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
