The Buyer/Analyst position in the commercial vehicle safety industry involves managing procurement processes and supply chain activities to ensure efficient operations. This temporary role is based in New York and provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic procurement and supply chain department.

Description

  • Manage procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing of goods and services.
  • Analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain and evaluate supplier relationships to optimize performance and value.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
  • Generate procurement and supply chain performance reports for management review.

Profile

A successful Buyer/Analyst should have:

  • A strong background in procurement and supply chain management within the vehicle safety industry.
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and market trends to support purchasing decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for supplier management.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools to streamline processes.
