Description
Main duties and responsibilities include the following:
Lead all phases of commercial and multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
Manage subcontractor buyouts, contracts, and performance
Coordinate directly with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project alignment
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality
Prepare and manage all project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Drive project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
Ensure compliance with local codes, safety standards, and company protocols
Proactively resolve issues and keep projects on schedule and within budget

In return for a generous compensation package, the successful candidates will possess the following:
5-10+ years of experience in construction project management
Must currently be running your own projects (APMs will not be considered)
Commercial GC background is required (no residential or subcontractor-only experience)
Strong understanding of full project lifecycle: scheduling, budgeting, and paperwork
Comfortable working in a lean, team-oriented environment
Able to commute to the office in Portland, ME (with some travel required for jobsites)
Job Offer
