Junior Estimator - Commercial Construction Projects

Our client is seeking a Junior Estimator with approximately 1 year of experience in estimating commercial construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to grow within a high-performing team and gain exposure to a wide range of project types and scales.

Description

• Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate take-offs
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids
• Support the development of budgets and proposals for new projects
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on scope and pricing
• Maintain organized records of estimates and bid documentation
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and value engineering efforts

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in estimating commercial construction projects
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Timberline, ProEst, or similar)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
