Superintendent- Commercial Construction

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial construction projects valued around $20M in the Fort Lauderdale area. This is a key leadership role with a reputable general contractor known for delivering high-quality, on-schedule work across South Florida.

Description

• Oversee all field operations from groundbreaking to final walkthrough on commercial projects in the $15M-$25M range

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and inspectors to ensure timelines, quality, and safety standards are met

• Lead daily site meetings and manage all on-site documentation and scheduling

• Ensure site safety compliance and proactively identify/resolve issues to avoid delays

• Maintain a strong, communicative presence with ownership groups and key stakeholders

Profile

• 7+ years of Superintendent experience with proven success in ground-up commercial builds

• Track record of leading projects in the $15M-$25M range from start to finish

• Strong knowledge of local codes, OSHA regulations, and construction best practices

• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage diverse field teams

• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with attention to detail and site safety

• Proficiency in construction software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)

Job Offer
