We are currently working with a rapidly growing transportation manufacturing company in their search for a Continuous Improvement & OpEx Manager to join the team and lead their company through the expansion. This role will report into the COO and will work at the 100+ employee plant. The Continuous Improvement and OpEx Manager is responsible for driving a culture of operational excellence across the manufacturing organization. This role leads strategic initiatives focused on improving productivity, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness through Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing operations and a passion for process optimization. Description
The Continuous Improvement & OpEx Manager - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
- Partner with leadership and frontline teams to identify improvement opportunities and build a culture of continuous improvement.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process and quality issues.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and impact of improvement initiatives.
- Train and mentor employees at all levels on Lean tools and techniques.
- Support the deployment of Operational Excellence frameworks and standards across the organization.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teams to ensure alignment and sustainability of improvements.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, ROI, and performance metrics to senior leadership.

Profile
The Continuous Improvement & OpEx Manager - Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on continuous improvement or OpEx.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt required).
- Proven track record of leading successful improvement initiatives with measurable results.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP system
Job Offer
